The case studies were the best thing about it for me. Really made it all concrete and understandable.

Kudos, guys! This should be a real book on the bookstore shelf for $30. The best thing I’ve ever read on bankruptcy. And it makes me so MAD just to realize how much bullcrap I’ve been reading elsewhere.

I wanted to write and personally thank you for writing this. It’s extremely therapeutic to read, and to feel like someone finally understands my predicament. Everything else out there is vague and impractical advice from companies promoting their services, or sanctimonious judgment from people who have never experienced disaster. I found this to be a breath of fresh air, and it lifted a huge weight to finally get some thoughtful explanations about what I’m going through and why things are they way they are. You’ve put articulate words to my own thoughts, and helped me formulate arguments to use the next time someone criticizes me for my plight.

Wow, this was so much more than I expected! Beautifully written, professionally formatted, extremely detailed, full of colorful examples that clarified everything. I just had so many of those ‘ah-ha!’ moments in reading this.

This is the only accurate info on Chapter 13 I could find. Almost everything on the web is focused on the much simpler chapter 7. Thanks for putting it together and sharing what you know.

You people should be attorneys, because you ‘get it’ way better than any of the ones I’ve been dealing with.

This is most definitely ‘smart’ just as advertised! I had to chuckle over the stats examples and the references to Bayes theorem, etc. I have no doubt that this was written by some highly-educated people. Too bad you felt you had to be anonymous, but I do understand.

I have to say, reading this made me feel like a bit of an idiot, but I did figure out that I don’t need or want bankruptcy at this point. Thanks for the tips!

Thank you for writing this book! Finally, Chapter 13 explained in a simple, easy to understand format. You managed to take a complex subject and make it accessible. Everyone considering a bankruptcy should read this book; I now know I have options that I had pretty much written off, and I feel much more comfortable about dealing with the attorney. Between the empathy displayed by the authors and their case examples I am feeling much better about the next few weeks, great book!
